A Quick One for You

Two points to make this evening:

1. People who condemn the military for "disrespecting" the Koran need to realize, hello, McFly, it's a goddamn book. If we caught a Christian terrorist and needed to piss on the Bible to get him to talk, well, have at it. Thankfully, most Christians are a little more rational than the idiot-variety of Muslim jumping up and down in the street killing people over a holy book.

2. People who say stupid shit like this:

   Despite what they may say, Muslims are and have always been on a mission to conquer and kill infidels. They’ve been doing it for centuries and will continue until we’re all dead, or they’re all dead, or the world ends, whichever comes first.

   ...deserve a fair amount of scorn (unfortunately, LaShawn closed the comments on that post - I can't fathom why).

   Nevermind that she conveniently overlooks a certain habit of "spread by bloodshed" that Christianity once embraced (and that the Holy Bible has a raging hard on for) - and nevermind that some Christians today still like to shoot Muslims, and video it for kicks.

If this is the big tent, I'll be stepping out of it to vote for a Democrat. I'd rather not, but the Republicans need a wake up call.
