Assorted Stuff
- Pharyngula points to this story about the "evolution/creationism in the schools" debate in Dover, PA. A local pastor had this to say:
"We've been attacked by the intelligent, educated segment of the culture," he said....
Indeed. We'll try to be dumber in the future so you don't feel so inadequate.
- Michael Schiavo is looking to shut up the conspiracy kooks:
The husband of brain-damaged Florida woman Terri Schiavo has ordered an autopsy after she dies to silence allegations his plan to cremate her body is aimed at hiding something, his lawyer said on Monday.
Because the best way to hide the fact you abused your wife is to engage in lengthy court battles that take the public spotlight. Uh huh, got it.
- Michele is sticking it to pharmacists who refuse to do their job. Here's my remedy: fire them.
- Former Crowded House drummer Paul Hester has been found dead, an apparent suicide.
- Oh yeah, the Rocky Mountain Blogger Bash 4.0 is this Saturday, in case you've forgotten. Click the logo top left for the details.
And I'm sure there's plenty more to read around the world and blogosphere, but it's been a long day. I'm off to watch some television, read to the wee Fiona, and then read to myself before calling it a night.
God bless. Or whatever.
