The Pope, speaking on the topic of in-vitro fertilization, said:

Such an act cannot be replaced by technological intervention."Errr, um, yes, it can. It's called "in-vitro fertilization." Granted, there's a lot less sweat, squeaking springs, and utterances to the divine (by believers and atheists alike), but indeed it does make babies.
