We Interrupt This Blog for a Baby
Well, maybe.
The delivery is scheduled for Monday, but there’s contractual (heh) evidence that things might happen sooner.
We’re keeping an eye on things (and Mrs. WWR is keeping a mucous plug on things for the time being).
Stay tuned.
Could be a big bunch of nothing.
Update: OK, so we’re at the hospital.
Waiting.
Update 2: And we’re home from the hospital.
They used the amazing miracle extensive knowledge of prayer modern medicine to hold off the contractions so the baby can bake a little longer.
We’re still on for a Monday delivery, unless baby decides it has other plans. Again.

Already? Wasn’t it suppose to be August? Why did I think August? Wow! Congrats early incase it happens while I’m heading home from my vacation. Btw, if on Monday, it will be on my younger son’s 11th birthday.

Is this one a boy or a girl?

This is good. Fertile smart people have an obligation to reproduce to fight the gradient, more steep now because of reality television. Congratulations!

One or the other, Retro.

Good luck.

Yours could be the first neither.

How’s everybody holding up over there?

Geoff - thanks!
Retro - is that like the opposite of a hermaphrodite?
Steve - we’re doing ok. Kind of in a holding pattern. Contractions continue but the cervix isn’t doing anything weird yet (as cervices - cervixes? - are wont to do when baby is pushing on them). So, this could end tonight with a baby or it could drag out until Monday for the scheduled C. Fun!

Don’t feel too bad. Not only was I early, I was the wrong sex. (No ultra-sound back in 1954, so you were left i the dark until you could check out the little nipper’s “package”.
