Man on a Mission

We went to test drive some mini-vans today.

This whole “family” thing, they don’t warn you about the mini-vans, do they?

I’m on a mission to make the minivan all kinds of uber-cool.

I suspect better men than I have failed.

I once saw an attractive young woman driving a mini-van full of kids and her bumper stickler said, “Help! I’m too young to be driving this van!”

My little brother has seven children so he had to buy one of those big white Chevy vans. My sister-in-law, who is smokin’ hot and a body that looks like it has never carried a child, drives that tank around. She was telling me that on the days when her mom is over or my brother goes to work late she drops the school age kids off at school then lights up a cigarette and hangs her arm out the window and drives around for a while. We were laughing at what a sight that must be. Maybe that’s what you should do; cruise with a cig hanging out of your mouth. That would cool it up.

I love my minivan. I like driving it like it’s some sporty little coupe. And it carries all our crap! Minivans are unfairly reviled – they’re a mighty fine ride.

Yeah, I had a minivan during those little-kid years, and actually enjoyed driving it.

Just think of minivans as part of the Circle of Life.

You would look coolest in a mid 80’s full size Jeep Wagoneer.
